This seal is used o the front of aircooled engine casesin conjunction with a sand sealed style pulley. The benefit of this seal is that it fits in the case without machining. When using this seal you must use Empi 8688-6these spacers reposition the sand pulley away from the engine case preventing pulley and seal interface.
