009 Cast Steel distributor with electronic ignition. These are painted black to match the Retro Brown Bakelite distributor caps. One of the most common distributors for VW. Will fit all type 1 motors. Mechanical Advance. Comes complete, ready to install. Must use with a coil with an internal resistor or a seperate external ballast resistor.
